2025. April 29.

In the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, our Faculty launched a new elective course titled “Debate! Developing Argumentation Skills”. The aim of the course was to enhance students' rhetorical abilities, logical reasoning, and confidence in public speaking. Over seven in-person sessions, nearly 20 students participated actively in various debate practices.

2025. April 29.

In the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Studies at the University of Szeged (SZTE ETSZK) introduced a new elective course titled Mastering Presentation Techniques. Launched alongside the Debate and Argumentation Skills course, this new subject aimed to enhance students’ public speaking and communication skills in both academic and everyday contexts.

This four-session workshop series will provide master's students with practical, evidencebased approaches to health promotion across multiple dimensions. Students will learn to develop and implement thematic plans and activity plans for various health topics based on scientific principles. Each 45-minute session includes 30 minutes of content delivery followed by 15 minutes of interactive application, where students will practice creating intervention plans for different age groups.

We are excited to share that the EUGLOH Connect Platform, developed by the University of Szeged within the framework of the EUGLOH Alliance, is now officially available!

This innovative platform is designed to strengthen international cooperation and build valuable connections across the alliance and beyond.


2025. March 20.

In response to our faculty's invitation, Professor Dr. Lajos Kemény will deliver a diverse and engaging lecture on his professional career, scientific achievements, and innovations titled "Why Is Research Beneficial? Successes, Failures, and New Beginnings" on April 7, 2025, at 14:00 as part of the ETSZK Professional Week. The event is organized within the framework of the project "Promoting Scientific Student Research at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Studies of the University of Szeged", which received funding under the NTP-HHTDK-24-0024 grant.

2025. March 20.

The project "Promoting Scientific Student Research at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Studies of the University of Szeged", submitted by Dr. med. habil. Zsanett Renáta Csoma, PhD, Vice Dean for General and Scientific Affairs, has been awarded HUF 2,500,000 in non-refundable funding under the call for proposals "Participation in and Organization of the National Scientific Students' Conference and its Scientific Workshops", announced by the National Cultural Support Management, with reference number NTPHHTDK-24-0024.
