The training has eight semesters, works on a regular full-time basis or as a correspondence course and ends with a diploma.

The goal is to train professionals who are capable of effectively contribute to social changes and to the well-being of people. Social workers work for an effective cooperation between individuals, families, groups, communities and their environment and to promote social integration.

During the training, in addition to subjects such as sociology, social policy, law, psychology and health education, students deepen their knowledge in the area and methods of ​​social work. In addition to the high number of practical lessons, the students gain experience in scientific research as well.

The strength of the training is that it provides extensive theoretical knowledge and thus founds a successful further study at MSc level. The external practices take place in practice stations developed across the country. The regional institutions of the industry and excellent professionals actively participate in the training.
